Meera Nanda is a John Templeton Foundation Fellow in Religion and Science (2005–2007). She is the author of The Wrongs of the Religious Right (2005), Prophets Facing Backward (2004), Postmodernism and Religious Fundamentalism (2003), and Breaking the Spell of Dharma & Other Essays (2002). Bhagat Oinam is Associate Professor at the Centre for Philosophy, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Earlier, he taught philosophy at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and IIT–Bombay. Besides moral and social philosophy, his academic interests include socio-political dynamics of Northeast India. Thingam Kishan Singh is currently Lecturer of English in D.M. College of Arts, Imphal. Earlier, he taught at Shyamlal College, Delhi University. He has specialised in postcolonial theory engaging African fiction. He is currently working on the hermeneutics of traditional Manipuri literatures. Peter Ronald deSouza is a political theorist and former Professor of Political Science at the University of Goa. Currently, he is Senior Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi.
