SOYAM LOKENDRAJIT is Professor of Philosophy at Manipur University, Imphal. Apart from his engagement in logic and social philosophy, he has extensively published on the issues of identity and violence in Manipur: Past and Present, World Affairs, and several other anthologies.

PRABHAT PATNAIK is Professor at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. A leading political economist, his publications include Economics and Egalitarianism (1991), Macroeconomics (1995), Accumulation and Stability under Capitalism (1997).
