Anungla Aier is Director, Women’s Studies Center, Nagaland University, Kohima. Earlier, she taught anthropology in the Department of Anthropology at Kohima Science College, Kohima. She is currently engaged in the study of Naga folklore, women and customary laws.

Sukalpa Bhattacharjee teaches English in North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. She has authored Postcolonial Literatures: Essays on Gender, Theory and Genres (2004) and co-edited Ethnonarratives: Identity and Experience in North-East India (2006). Currently, she is engaged in translating Partition narratives from Barak Valley of Assam.
