Manipur Research Forum (MRF) is a research body that critically examines social, political, economic and other key issues of Manipur, in particular, and the Northeast, in general. The Forum sets itself the task of disseminating factually accurate information in addition to analysis on the region and its people. It also highlights and encourages plurality of methodologies and perspectives. In fact, it attempts to set a platform for debate and discussion among concerned individuals and groups on the region cutting across disciplinary and ideological predilections. Besides publication of the Eastern Quarterly, MRF also organises seminars, conferences, lectures and workshops.
